pftion slf torrent section and it's lounge thread was a good place, I found myself spend hours reading posts there when I first joined.
Good to know somebody besides me fondly remembers the good old SLF torrent section and the Torrent Discussion Threads on our old forum. I Spent many hours posting torrents and answering questions on the Censored Video Torrent section which I was the torrent Mod at the time. Along side my old friend and Mod akemi666 who sadly is not a member of SLF anymore.
So while I'm here reminiscing about the old times on our good old SLF torrent section. I just want to say thanks to the rest of my fellow members who have posted torrents in the past on the old torrent section...
Ninespiral, kawaiineko ,Kinchana, omfgwtf, MeatballHLM, mongs88, TrenTz, vanhalo, omgomgomg, zakichan, Duct Tape,Dullahan, GMCtopkick
There were many more great torrent posters of course, so if I missed your name out sorry!
But I want to personally say a BIG thanks to three guys who made the old torrent section special for me anyway and they are....
akemi666 was a torrent mod long before me and did all the work of making the torrent section run nice and smooth and posted torrents too.
ccwoot was the torrent mod on the uncensored section. This guy was one awesome torrent poster. He single handed kept the uncensored section alive and kicking for many years until he sadly decided to leave SLF in July 2014.
Now to me the SLF torrents mentor, the supreme commander-in-chief of the torrent section! was always samishii or the legendary samishii as ccwoot and I used to call him. This guy was just a torrent posting machine. He would post over thirty + torrents in one session while I would post about two. This guy was that good!
Now ccwoot said this back in 2013 on the Censored Video Torrent Discussion Thread,
"Just wanna give some words of encouragement to my hardworking fellow mod uk21. Dude you have doing a great job maintaining the censored section. There's more censored torrents released compared to uncensored torrents. That's a great deal of stuff to be sorted, translated and posted. This is by no means an easy job. (Hint: Garcon and Hunter titles ) So all credits to you and akemi for looking after this section.
I'm glad that you have fellow members like TrenTz, mongs88 & 201flyer, not to mention my legendary bro samishii is back, to help you out. I'm actually kinda envious . Sometimes I wish I can get more help, but at the same time quality help, which to be honest is a bit wanting.
Everyone has their pet peeve. It annoys me to no end to see titles translated from Google Translate copied & pasted straight off which make absolute no sense whatsoever, or simply posting japanese titles without any effort to translate at all. It makes me feel silly to put in so much effort into my posts when other people can take the easy way out. But then I take pride in making sure the titles I post can be as close to 100% accuracy.
Therefore I hope every poster puts just that bit of effort into their post, be it making sure info (actress name, title, video code, etc) is correct, title is at least half-decent and accurate or properly formatting your post. Even if you don't post, little things like helping to ID actresses, spotting mistakes or offering title suggestions goes a long way.
Let's all help to make SLF a forum that stands out from the rest, a forum where people likes to visit for quality posts."
Now to be honest with you, When I read the above post for the first time, the things he said about me I felt honored and humbled. And as you can see from ccwoot's post, he liked everything to be neat and tidy and above all correct. This is why the old torrent section was so special because of posters like my old friend ccwoot who was really committed in doing a great job. I mean we were so dedicated back then, We would argue about the craziest things sometimes like the spelling of a girls name. Is it Yu or Yuu!
Well enough of me reminiscing about the old times. I probably sound like a idiot anyway?
Now I know non of the above torrent posters I mentioned above will ever see this post, Even so I like to say again thanks to all my fellow members who have posted torrents in the past even if I have not named you all individually, All the staff and the other members do appreciate all the time and hardwork you put in posting them torrents for all those years.
Cheers Guys wherever you may be!
